The Team at Wild at Art is One-of-a-Kind!Please allow us to introduce ourselves...
CYNDI HARRIS
CYNDI has been teaching at Wild at Art since 2012 and assumed the role of Studio Manager in 2016. As a child, she would doodle, draw and create constantly. That lead her to UNC Greensboro, where she received a BFA in Design and Art Education and eventually to do the one thing that gives her the most joy- enhancing children’s lives through art and creativity. Cyndi enjoys teaching classes, lessons, camps and getting to spend as much time getting to know all of the amazing children and families who come through the doors of the studio.
When not at the studio, Cyndi teaches and shares art with many amazing students in Raleigh and loves to spend time with family- her two children, Ford and Grayson + Forest, a GIANT yellow lab, connect with friends, spend time outside, travel, paint, craft, practice yoga and try anything new and exciting!
ANNA PODRIS
ANNA is a local Raleigh painter working mainly in oils and encaustic. She loves sharing her artistic practice with kids and has been teaching art classes for over 20 years. She obtained a degree in painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
When she’s not painting in her studio, Anna enjoys camping and hiking in the forest with her family: husband artist Keith Norval, daughter Ingrid and dog Roux. She also enjoys visiting museums and doing yoga.
KEITH NORVAL
KEITH is a local Raleigh painter who grew up in Zimbabwe before moving to the US as a kid. He liked drawing cartoons and comics from a young age and pursued making art all through school. He moved to Raleigh after earning his degree in illustration from the Savanah College of Art and Design. He has worked since then as a professional artist as well as taught kids and adults art classes. When he’s not painting he enjoys riding his bike, baking bread, playing video games and reading graphic novels.
JEN DAVIS
JEN is a mother, artist, art educator, yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), equestrian enthusiast, and devoted nature lover—with a special love for the beach. With over 16 years of experience teaching art to children, Jen is passionate about nurturing young minds through creative exploration and self-expression.
Her approach to art education goes beyond technique—she creates a supportive environment where children feel safe to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with their inner world. Through hands-on projects, process art and mindfulness practices, Jen encourages each child to trust their uniqueness and enjoy the process of creating.
Based in Raleigh since attending NC State University in 1988, Jen lives with her husband Josh and their 2 dogs, Bubba and Tater. They have three grown children, Luke, Noah and Isabel. Outside of teaching and creating in her home studio, she loves riding horses, walking the beach, journaling through collage and spending time with family and friends.
RACHEL PISCIOTTA
RACHEL joined Wild at Art in 2025. Rachel is a mother, artist, art educator and believe it or not an accountant! Accounting and Art are generally not linked, however Rachel concentrated on process and visionary solutions in her former corporate career. More recently she designed some software tools to help accountants working in nonprofits. Rachel’s art features abstract, floral, and landscape paintings. She enjoys working on multi-panel pieces that can be displayed together or separate. She also works with printmaking media in various forms. Rachel and her family moved to Raleigh almost 20 years ago. Her undergraduate studies included years at Alfred University in their Bachelor of Fine Arts program. Rachel teaches young people techniques and processes in making art, allowing the individual artist to set the subject, design, pattern, or vision of their choice. She encourages using one’s imagination to broaden visionary thinking. When Rachel is not teaching in the studio or producing her own art, she enjoys hiking, tennis, yoga, and most importantly spending time with her husband and two sons.
